Property Tax REFORM
The Florida Legislature passed a proposed constitutional amendment that would dramatically increase the homestead exemption on non-school property taxes to $150,000 in 2027 and $250,000 in 2028. The measure will appear on the November 3, 2026 ballot and requires 60% voter approval to take effect.
